Fantastic food, elegant design, attentive staff. It was probably the best Thai food we ever had. Very generous portions too!

Delicious Thai dishes with real, authentic flavor and impressive presentation. The cocktails were just as great refreshing and well-balanced. The restaurant is beautifully designed with a nice, relaxing atmosphere. A great spot for anyone craving quality Thai food in the Lake District.

We waited patiently for this new Restaurant to open in the Village. We weren’t disappointed when we visited for the first time today. Starters were King Prawn Tempura and Duck Spring Rolls, both were delicious and the presentation was lovely with the portions for both being really generous. Main courses were Chicken Pad Thai and King Prawn Phad Prik Tai Dum (black bean sauce) with sticky rice. Again the main course portions were excellent and both delicious. The Restaurant is lovely and we couldn’t fault the service. We will definitely be going back.- Price per person

Loved everything about this restaurant. Decor lovely. One star off the food rating only because the Pad Thai didn’t quite have the oomph we’d like. Otherwise, great job all. We liked that we weren’t rushed.

Bangkok 9 looks great, clean tidy and obviously the people here take pride in their establishment.
The staff were attentive immediately and remained so for the duration of our time here. They were also quick to enquire about any allergies or dietary requirements.
The menu is thorough, well described, and diverse, without being imposing or containing too many dishes.
On to the star of the show, the food! We had a few different dishes and they were all delicious, fresh and fantastically presented, also very generous portions. The Khao Soi Gai was simply phenomenal. We finished up with mango sticky rice to share, which was a perfect end to an amazing lunch.
Bangkok 9 serves not only some of the best Thai food I have eaten in years, but also some of the best food outright. The freshness of the dishes was outstanding, and we will return next time we are in the area. Can’t recommend this place enough.- Service

This place! Is well worth visiting. We arrived on the second week of them opening on the Sunday and they were extremely busy, they told us there would be a wait they were great whilst we waited asking us for drinks and some nibbles, we soon got seated and the food was absolutely stunning. Best food I’ve eaten in a long time. Staff were lovely and very attentive! 5 star all rounder for me can’t wait to visit again.

I loved it here, beautifully decorated and clean, food was amazing and service without fault. Portions are large and they packed away to go everything I couldn’t finish without issues. I would come again.

The staff were very attentive and even though they were busy you wouldn't know or because their service was extremely quick. As soon as we arrived they asked what we would like to drink and also brought a jug of water, as soon as the water was empty they brought another. Even though we were drinking alcohol we also had 3 jugs of water. The portions were very generous. Altogether this was a lovely experience.

A brand new restaurant in town. It is nearby another Thai restaurant but Bangkok 9 is a higher level in all senses.
A modern, warm and elegant decoration with a really nice and welcoming staff. There are indoor and outdoor seating and the terrace at the small street is really nice and inviting.
It doesn't look like the restaurant has been open for only 5 days. The service was excellent and fast and the food I tried was very authentic. If a Thai restaurant doesn't nail pad Thai dish it is concerning. It was not the case. It was a really nice one.
The menu is quite extensive with plenty of options. The only classic dish that I couldn't find was papaya salad. Nevertheless, there were another 8 salads on the menu. One thing that I didn't like was ordering a soft drink and bringing it already served in a glass. Not good. Bottle or can please.
The price is slightly higher than expected for a Thai restaurant but you will notice the difference compared with a regular one.
So if you are looking for an elegant Thai restaurant with authentic food and warm service, I would recommend Bangkok.- Service
